Day 1 & 2: Kardamyli

The seaside village of Kardamyli is arguably one of the most beautiful on the entire Peloponnesian peninsula. Additionally, it is a place of extensive historical interest, with many tower houses and numerous Byzantine churches and monasteries scattered along its slopes. Kardamili is also home to a great archaeological museum.

This seaside village face-to-face with Mount Taygetos, surrounded by olive groves, hilly terrain and cypress trees, this seaside getaway is a popular destination for Greeks as well as foreigners.

A distinctive feature of the coastline around Kardamyli is the smooth round stones on its beaches. Ritsa is an organized white pebbled beach, Foneas has deep waters, and small caves, while Kalamitsi’s shallow waters are ideal for children. Stoupa on the other hand with its sandy beaches and tavernas is another favorite vacation spot, which will leave you the most satisfied.

Day 3 & 4: Areopoli - Limeni

On a hilltop above the harbor of Limeni, Areopoli or otherwise called “The City of Ares (the God of War)”, is one of the larger towns in Mani and is one of the most popular tourist destinations. This small village is full of stone alleys and stone-built castle houses that resemble an old European village. Strolling around Areopoli, you can find traditional guesthouses, castles, and local shops.

This little village's heart beats in the central "Square of the Immortal": on Saturdays, local products are sold by locals, while cafeterias and taverns offer traditional cuisine from Mani. Taste the delicious local foods such as olives, olive oil, smoked pork, sausages with orange, honey, and bread.

If you are a hiking enthusiast, you will be astonished by the wild natural beauty that surrounds the stone-made villages around Areopoli.

Limeni is a seaside village near Areopoli and a perfect destination if you are seeking a quiet, yet beautiful place for your holidays.

Its picturesque scenery consists of stone-made houses built on the sea and emerald waters, where you can dive into from its rocky coast. Authentic taverns on the beach with fishing boats anchored right in front offer tasty seafood and delicious fish straight from the sea.

Day 5 & 6: Gerolimenas

A small fishing port dates back to Antiquity, making Gerolimenas one of the most picturesque villages in Mani. Explore an off-the-beaten-track destination with no more than 50 inhabitants, full of old stone-built houses and abandoned medieval towers!

The calm turquoise waters of the pebbled beach make it ideal for swimming even on windy days. There are large imposing rock formations surrounding the beach, and the area occasionally hosts historical reenactment events, locally called pirate nights, which are held every summer.

It has everything you could possibly want, such as traditional restaurants, fish taverns, and cafe bars!
