The day starts early in the morning when we pick you up via minivan from your hotel or a previously arranged point in central Athens. From there we head to the coastal town of Anavyssos, arrive at the beach and our adventure begins. After a short introduction to sea kayaking and a series of group stretching exercises, we board two-seater kayaks and paddle towards the nearby tiny island of Arsida.
Arsida is home to some great deserted beaches as well as a stunning sea cavern, well-hidden on the southern side of the island. The first part of our kayaking trip involves paddling around the island towards the famous Arsida cave. It is a very narrow passage allowing for one kayak at a time to cross. Once there, we have plenty of time for rest and a swim in the cavern’s deep blue waters.
Midafternoon we get to one of the island’s deserted beaches, hop-off our kayaks and, while our crew prepares a delicious salad out of fresh vegetables and local cheeses, you get a chance to unwind on the beach, participate in a variety of activities and swim in crystal clear waters.
Late afternoon, we pack our gear and head back to the mainland.
